Bill began his career in spinal bracing in 1993 at American Professional Bracing (APB), where he learned the fundamentals of brace design, biomechanics, and quality. During those early years, he suffered a serious lumbar spine injury. Several physicians recommended a spinal fusion, but unwilling to undergo surgery at a young age, he turned to a chiropractor and bracing to manage his pain. That experience anchored his belief in conservative care and continues to drive his passion for helping others avoid invasive procedures whenever possible.
Recognized for his leadership and sales ability, Bill helped shift the industry from primarily Orthotic and Prosthetic shops to broader Durable Medical Equipment, medical-supply distribution, expanding patient access to high-quality bracing, and enhancing the chiropractic industry. After the sale of APB in 2005, Bill founded American Medical Products in 2010. Today, AMP continues to create braces “for the patient, by the patient,” supporting conservative care and healing for back, knee, wrist, ankle, and shoulder injuries.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys time with his wife and six children, staying active, and maintaining the healthy lifestyle that supports his own recovery journey.
